This guy was born on New Year's Day 11 years ago. He thinks it's pretty cool to have a birthday on a holiday.
I made him a gluten free lemon/lime cake with cream cheese frosting. I used the Starbuck's Orange Cake recipe from Elana's Pantry. We had the orange version for Christmas which was awesome. Everyone also liked the lemon/lime version.
One of the little boys came down with the flu the night before which ended our New Year's Eve early. Now I have a house full of sick people. These are the fun things life throws at us. Well, at least it is quieter than usual around here!
