27 Weeks Pregnant With Baby #9

Sorry, I'm not very creative with photos this week.  But babies are always cute even if you saw the same shot last week.

Wow, another week has passed already.  I ate what I wanted, as long as it was still on the paleo/SCD diet, on Christmas Eve and Day and I gained over two pounds.  Yikes!  I think it was from the increased carbs as I could see that I was holding more water in my legs.  Time to go back down to 100 carbs per day. 

I'm still walking, stretching and doing yoga each day but I have not gotten back to weights.  I need to, maybe next week. 

I have an appointment next week so I should have a more interesting update next week.  I hope to hear that my baby is no longer transverse!  Oh, and it will be time for another belly pic and to report my weight gain. 

I am still cleaning and organizing my home.  My husband has to do some work in our room before I can start setting up baby's area so I'm trying to keep myself busy with the rest of the house.  We have not gotten anything for this little girl yet.  I did sign up for a few baby registries online just to help me figure out what I needed so I can start planning.  We gave all of our baby gear and clothes away as my last baby grew up so I need everything for this little girl.  We have been given a crib and a bunch of clothes for 6m and up so we don't have anything big to purchase besides the car seat.  God is good and taking care of us!

*Last week I said I would write about how I plan to get out of the glucose tolerance test.  I am logging my fasting blood glucose levels for a week to prove that I'm fine.  For three days I will eat a normal breakfast and then log my 1 and 2 hour blood glucose readings.  I will try to do a 3 hour day also but I usually eat my morning snack before three hours is up.  I will also log one whole day of eating with 1 hour levels for each meal.  If that is not enough evidence I will ask to have my A1C level checked to verify my blood sugar control over the last three months.
