| I dried some catnip to use this winter in herbal tea. |
Sorry. That's just been the theme of my last month. I did survive and now things are getting back to normal. I've worked hard in the garden and I even did a good weight work out this week! I have maintained my weight through intense stress and am recovering from a hard month. I know I will still have ups and downs and worry more than I should but it is going much better than I thought it would.
How did I survive? Lots of prayer! We asked for prayers from everyone and our family and friends asked their churches and friends to pray for us. We received answers a lot faster than we would have and now we are getting used to a new reality in our lives.
Ok, so this post isn't really about physical fitness but more about mental fitness. It's hard to be physically fit if you aren't mentally fit. Sometimes you need to step back from everything else and get your mind in order before you can continue onward. When the stress hit we were in the middle of a school break and I extended it until I felt like we could start to get back to normal. We are slowly adding back to our routine and should be at a full workload soon.
I hope to talk more about physical fitness next week. I hope you all had a fit week!
I'm linking up at Tea Time With Annie Kate for Fit Mommy Friday.
