Saying Goodbye

Our last day with our son was Sunday. He was stuck on base all day so we did more shopping, coffee/tea drinking, and hanging out at the BX.

This little boy can walk he just thought his big bro was so cool in uniform.

He bought a ring.  He is very frugal and was happy to find a deal on last year's ring which works because that is when he was an official member of the Air Force.

His training group, the mustangs, is on one side.

We went back to the park for another picnic and he called friends.

He bought this necklace for his friend.  He kept half.

I had to get some pics of him with his flashlight in case he misses it later.  They had to turn it on when the sun went down and they were out walking.  This is how the road guard stands.

David(3) thought the flashlight was very cool and wanted to carry it for Caleb all weekend.

And then it was time for final hugs from everyone.

He left the next morning for Tech School and now we can talk to him on the phone every day and even text if we want to.  He will get to come home for a visit in a few months.

We made some awesome memories and will be talking about this trip for a long time.
