Through this week's study of
1 Peter Week 2-Respond Like a Dry-Bone Babe, I have come to the realization that I need to read my Bible more. I want to be, as Paul describes in 1 Peter 2:2, like a newborn babe desiring the pure milk of the word so I may grow.
I feel stagnant in my growth as a believer. I am desiring a focused time of immersing myself in His word so I can grow and gain the strength to serve Him.
I think I am doing too much and in the process I have lost my focus. My daily focus needs to be on how I will serve God and on His word. I have my children home with me each day and I should take that opportunity to pour His Word into their lives.

I was just looking at this Bible Study while visiting the http://thesimplewomansdaybook.blogspot.com/ which I started yesterday. Totally agree with your post. You put my desire into words. My husband, home and children are simple the avenue in which the Lord has given me to reflect Him in. He is first in all things.
