We made a quick stop to give everyone some breakfast from the ice chest.
Hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks, and homemade cinnamon raisin bread kept them going 'till lunch.
This little dude started asking when we would be there about 2 minutes after we started driving.
After the youngest ate he announced that he was still hungry for about 30 minutes.
After eating another piece of bread he started announcing that he was full.
I stuck with my paleo diet the whole trip. Breakfast was roast beef, cooked veggies, squash, baby carrots, and green tea.
Then we made a stop at Wally to get some sunglasses for the peeps.
These glasses fit Isaac's personality perfectly!
Some people don't appreciate having a picture taken in the store. Oh, well, they got over it.
I have no idea why the 17 year old needed to bring his boxing gloves but it did keep his little brother amused for awhile.
Keep it clean boys!
After lunch everyone enjoyed a little nap.
And then we were at the hotel where my parents were waiting for us. They flew in from California so they could see their oldest grandchild graduate from Basic Training. Oh, and visit with everyone else.
My husband took the children swimming while my parents and I headed to the base to get passes for the next day. We got lost on the way there and then got lost finding a grocery store. By the time we got back to the hotel we were exhausted and I still had to lay out clothes and pack breakfast and lunch for the next morning. To be continued...
