God's Promises for the Teacher by Jack Countryman and published by Thomas Nelson is a collection of inspiring Bible verses organized by subject which would make a lovely gift for teachers. In the front of the book is an inscription page and another page where you can add a note to your teacher. There are seven messages and poems throughout the book written to the teacher by Jack Countryman and other authors. Some of the subjects of the Bible verses are Love, Patience, Wisdom, Goodness, Sacrifice, Hope, and Courage.

This is a lovely little 117 page book that I think any teacher or homeschool mom who is also a Christian would love to receive. I plan to keep it on my school desk to have within easy reach when I need to hear some encouragement from God's word. Quotations are taken from The New King James Version and are printed in green ink with red chapter titles. This would make a wonderful Christmas, beginning of the school year, or end of the school year gift. Or even if you know a teacher who just needs a little encouragement.
