No Excuses!

My daughter, who was helping with the weeding, showing how tall the sunflowers are.

I often use the excuse of physical pain or a bad day to give in to the temptation to say something mean or have a bad attitude.  I'm not allowing myself any more excuses!  If my back hurts I will try my hardest to keep a pleasant attitude.  if I can't I will take some time alone until I feel strong enough to behave appropriately.

I will also keep my schedule less crowded on the days I'm mot feeling well so I won't get overwhelmed.  I will keep an eye on how close I am getting to being frustrated and leave a situation or discontinue a lesson before I blow my top.  I need to keep in mind that I can't take rashly spoken words back.  Yes, I can apologize but that doesn't take the words from my children's or husband's ears.  I want to be sweet and sting less with what I say.

Isaiah 12:14-
And in that day you will say;
Praise the Lord, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.

*You can join The Garden Path all week.  It will be open from Wednesday through next Tuesday.  Or just feel free to visit the ladies who linked up this week and leave them some gardening encouragement!
