| The sweet peas are still not blooming. I wonder if they will wait till fall when it is cooler? |
As I mentioned yesterday, I've been thinking about starting a gardening linky. Well, if I keep thinking about it it will never get done. So I'm giving myself a week to get it all figured out. Next Wednesday will be our first Tea Time In The Garden linky party. You can grab a cup of hot or cold tea depending on where you are in the world and visit with friends as they share their gardens. Doesn't that sound like fun? It should be a wonderful way to find some new garden inspiration while meeting new bloggers or visiting old friends.

You can link up your most recent garden post whether is was from yesterday or last year and then go visit some of the other entries. Please visit and comment on as many blogs as possible to offer encouragement and a friendly hello. As long as your post has something to do with gardening or growing plants or even sharing a snow covered landscape you may include it. You can share gardening dreams and plans, your poor withering houseplant, or the sprouts you are growing for your salad.
| Do you think I will have baby shovels soon or a new handle? |
I might leave an assignment once a month or so to give you some ideas for your next post. I think this will be helpful in the winter especially, if there is enough interest to continue year round. I'm thinking about suggestions such as your favorite flower whether you grow it or just admire it from afar, plans for next year's veggie garden, the most beautiful place you have ever visited, or a covert photo shoot of a garden in your neighborhood. You may stick to the assignment or go off on your own, doesn't matter, just have fun sharing something with us.

If you know of any great tutorials on setting up a (hopefully free) linky thing or how to make a button to include with the weekly link up post, please share! I'm pathetic at figuring these things out and will probably cry, beg for chocolate, and stay up too late figuring it out. I know I can do this!
Can't wait to see you next week!
