The guys got back to work on the schoolroom! My parents are coming to visit and my mom and I are going to work on decorating the schoolroom while she is here. I want to put a Bible verse on one of the walls but don't know which one to use. Any suggestions that would be fitting for our learning room? Or even one that could a family motto? Oh, also, if you've painted words on the wall before please share your easiest method. Or maybe I should make a banner instead? You know how I can't decide. I might want to change it later.

My mom made the suggestion of painting the desks(not the tops though) to match so the room will look more put together. I want to paint them the green color we chose for our kitchen. I think I will paint the long wall green, the ceiling and soffits cream, and use the darker cream for the other walls. What do you think?

We are going to pull the carpeting out and try staining the concrete when we have the $. I think it will also keep the room cooler for the summer. I'll add some area rugs as the budget allows.
So do you think they'll be able to finish the room this week? Remember, my husband does have a day job and also has a part time job. I think he thinks my mom and I will paint the room after the plaster is finished. I think I have two teen boys who will paint the room after the plaster is finished!
