Did You Have a Happy Mother's Day?

I hope so!  My children made breakfast for me which was sweet.  My daughter took my order Saturday night.  My husband had to work in the morning but when he came home he brought flowers with him.  I planted them in the bare spaces in our new flower beds.

He also brought me roses.

And then after a nap he got to work in the schoolroom.

No, I didn't leave the roses in there.  I just wanted to get a pic of them amidst the chaos to remember what that day was like.

Caleb had fun making a big hole in the wall.

This is where the door will be.  To the right is where the old pocket door was.

He barely made it into the photo.
After a little work they made a run to the home store to pick up windows and lights.

On the left is the new window size.  We will have two windows and get rid of the old one.  I wanted larger windows but the sun beats down on the back of the house all afternoon and we thought larger windows would turn the schoolroom into an oven.

David had fun playing outside.  He got a haircut and a bath after this and looks much better and cleaner now.

I spent a little time in the afternoon relaxing in my room with a stack of books while the children played wii.  My hubby made me a nice dinner and then I watched a movie with the children while my husband and Caleb worked in the schoolroom.

I hope you had a nice and relaxing day!
