|Hello, back pain relief!|
I got in a lot of strength training this week which is making me feel all buffed out! I bought a dress last weekend and when I tried it on at home I determined that I needed some more muscle in my behind so for each strength training day I'm doing a booty camp. Here's how it works. I do one exercise for my behind each hour from 8am through 4pm and then I do my regular strength training routine. I was surprised the first day when I realized how much better my lower back felt. I think bulking up my behind will help strengthen my hips and take some of the stress off my back.
I'm trying to do another T-Tapp basic workout plus(BWO+) 4 day bootcamp since I haven't kept up with my schedule. I think it will help with my back issues. I've been going to the chiro twice a week for over a month and my schedule and our budget is suffering. I have upper back pain which radiates to my chest. I am using lots of tiger balm and heat packs! I was hoping that doing my pull up attempts and push ups would help but the doc thinks I should lay off on the upper body stuff for awhile. I'm kinda bummed about that.

I don't know what's going on with my weight. I am weighing with the wii fit and this week I changed to light clothing instead of heavy and it showed that I had gained a pound which could mean that I lost a pound. I guess next week will be easier to tell. I didn't lose any inches but my hubby said I'm gaining muscle definition so that was encouraging. I'm going to start measuring every other week because I get too depressed about not seeing a change. At least I'm not getting larger! I'm thankful for that. I'm still sticking with my diet and have added in more raw veggies this week. I'm supposed to be juicing every day but I am too lazy to bother with the juicer. I did stick to my plan to cut out the almonds and coconut milk. Hopefully next week I'll see some weight reduction so I know it's working.

Next week's workout goals:
strength training 3x + booty camp
walking every day
gardening as often as possible
Next week's eating goals:
fermented food at each meal and snack
raw food at each meal
try juicing once!
abstain from almonds and coconut milk
This weekend I'm planning to purchase 10 lb dumbbells, a resistance band, and an exercise ball so I can add a few more exercises to my 3x a week booty camp. The guys are going to work on bike repair so our family can ride together and I hope to get in a nice walk or two while the weather is nice.
What are your fitness plans for the weekend and next week?
