
I lost two pounds this week! Looks like the pounds are catching up with the inches. I still have this cold. I was almost back to normal when it hit again. Yesterday I didn't have enough energy to do anything but I am feeling better this morning so hopefully I'll be heading back to normal now.
I've set my weight goal at 165. I'm 5'10". I always feel like I weigh so much more than most people which makes me feel huge. I'm trying to get over it! Maybe next week I'll tell you how many pounds I have left to lose and you can figure out how much I weigh, if I'm brave enough. Before I had my first baby at 18 I weighed between 140-150. I don't think I could be that thin again and I hope 165 will be o.k.
I'm going to try to increase my upper body strength. I'm pretty wimpy. I tried to do a pull up on one of the 2x4's in the ceiling of our schoolroom and could only pull up about an inch. I can do 5 girl push-ups and then I'm sore the next day. See, I'm whimpy! I will try a pull up and some push ups on the days when I do my t-tapp workout.
I should also get outside and work on turning the compost piles but it's cold! We have had highs in the 30s for the last two weeks. I know that's not very cold for some of you but I grew up in southern California and needed a sweatshirt when it got down to 72! I'm not that whimpy anymore but I still don't like to be cold. Hopefully, it will heat up again soon so I can go outside to work, I miss the sunshine.
