Almost Complete Kitchen Face lift

It is going to be awhile before we can redo the floor so I thought I would show you my kitchen face lift.

Here's the before.

Yes, those are post its on my cupboards.  I have teenagers!

And after.

My husband took out the old fluorescent lights and put up new ones so that is why I have a hole in my ceiling, but at least now I have light!

We are testing ceiling colors over there by the sink.

I can't wait to get some new flooring.  We are debating over laminate or linoleum.  I want something softer on the feet since we are usually barefoot and that tile is hard.

Not bad for some contact paper and a few gallons of paint!  We found the dishwasher on Craigslist for $50.00 and we also replaced the electric cook top last spring with a five burner gas top.  We found it on Craigslist for $25.00 if I remember correctly.
