How should you manage your household without being overbearing?
I struggle with this all the time. It is hard to find the sweet spot and I find that it changes all the time.
Decorating advice for families with small children or lots of children.
I use thumbtacks to hang things on the wall. They make it easy to move things often and only leave a little hole. We paint every room in the house with semi-gloss so every wall can be scrubbed without damage. I get bummed in the winter unless I have lots of light in the house and I totally agree with her advice on paint color.
