I'm not a Star Wars fan. Hubby made me take this pic.
The pilots putting on a glow. Every once in awhile the announcers would lead a countdown and when we got to zero the pilots were supposed to light up their balloons.
You are allowed to go out on the field. Kinda neat. You can walk up and talk to the balloon crews if you want to.
We had tickets to a corporate tent for dinner. This was the view from our dining area.

After getting something to eat I walked out on the field to get a few close ups. Here is a panda being deflated.
Down it goes. If you are out there you have to keep an eye on what's going on!

After the balloons were down there was a fireworks show.

And then we went home and I finally had a piece of b-day cake. This is one of the best low carb choc. cakes ever! My sweetie made it for me and Hannah added the decor.
I'll have to link to the recipe for ya later. It was a great birthday even if I have to get older every year.
