I've been listening to Jimmy Moore's Livin' La Vida Low Carb podcasts. They're pretty interesting with many different topics for low carbers or anyone interested in health. This show was an interview with Mark "dr. Tea" Ukra on the health benefits of drinking tea and his Ultimate Tea Diet.
Here is dr. Tea's website. He has videos and articles about tea on his site. I would love to try some of his craving teas. If I do, I'll let you know what I think. I checked his book out from the Library and am enjoying an easy and informative read. I've learned a lot about tea and am happily consuming many cups a day.
It does seem to keep my blood sugar more even. That is a great thing! When I get hungry I am very irritable. It seems to keep me more even mood-wise whether I am hungry or not. I also have more energy. I haven't even been drinking tea for a week yet, can't wait to see how I'm doing in a few more weeks! So as my teens would say, "Check It!"
