They always gave me a feeling of peace. I don't know why. Maybe they symbolize a simple but full life. A life full of hard work but strength and health also. Sunshine on the face, working your own land, owning your life. Old fashioned values, honesty, gumption. That's what a tractor means to me.

One thing about me
I've wanted an old John Deere tractor since I was a little girl. I grew up in the city so I'm not a country girl. We would travel to Arkansas from California every year or so to visit my grandparents. We passed many old tractors along the way.
They always gave me a feeling of peace. I don't know why. Maybe they symbolize a simple but full life. A life full of hard work but strength and health also. Sunshine on the face, working your own land, owning your life. Old fashioned values, honesty, gumption. That's what a tractor means to me.
