August First Garden Pictures

Let's take a walk out to the veggie garden.

We pass the perennial border.

Here are the new veggie beds.

The compost bins with lots of pumpkin plants taking over.

I'm starting to clear some beds for fall and winter crops.

The mandivilla is making the dead tree look nicer.

I had to trim the allyssum plants, they were taking over the path.

I need to find something to add some color to this spot.

The other end of the vegetable garden.

Corn, zucchini, and tomatoes.

Lots of apples on this little tree. It is only about 6.5 feet tall.

This whole area is on the side of our house. You can't tell it's there from the front. It's a nice surprise to come upon as you walk around the house.

The new kitchen sink garden taking shape. See the sunflower house?

The sunflower house. We lost a few plants when the older boys were working on the sink.
