We are doing this plan. Today was run 2 minutes, walk 4 minutes, repeat 5 times. We are going to run M-W-F.

I think I'm a little crazy to start running in the middle of summer. It was 90 at 7pm when we went. I do know if I can run now I'll be able to stick to it especially in the winter.
